What is this?

The Noble Truths are one of the most fundamental teachings of the Buddha in Early Buddhism. They comprise the core of the Four Noble Truths which outline an understanding of the basic nature of reality with regard to the end of suffering. They are declared as: the truth of suffering, the truth of the cause of suffering, the truth of the cessation of suffering, and the truth of the path to the cessation of suffering. Each of these four truths provide an insight into the nature of existence and how it affects our ability to achieve freedom from suffering. The Noble Truths are often seen as a therapeutic model to prevent the suffering in the world.
